Best spells in Warhammer 3 by the numbers

Damage spells ranked by damage per cast and per point of Winds of Magic, vortexes by damage per second and in total, with the overcast versions. Patch 9.0.2.

COMPUTEDDamage is base + armour-piercing, as the spell pages show it. Magic missiles and bombardments: damage of one cast with every projectile or shell and its explosion hitting (projectiles × (damage + explosion)) — a best case, not what one model takes. Vortexes, winds and breaths: damage per second to a model caught in them (all of the spell's vortexes), and that × duration. “Per winds” = that total ÷ the spell's Winds of Magic cost. Overcast figures are the game's overcast version. Spells from every lore, legendary lords' own sets included.
